Information Technology Group is Hiring a Communications Specialist Near Bellevue, WA

Job Details

Description: HYBRID ROLE, onsite 3-4 days. Must be LOCAL candidates!!

Please provide a portfolio link of work experience on the top of the resume.

Current contract is 90 days, but should be extended based on work quality.

At least 3 years relevant experience required. Create, update and maintain marketing materials. Create, update and maintain a marking plan and execute on deliverables. Work closely with stakeholders and coordinate messaging/creative concepts. Create a messaging framework and value propositions aligning by products, audience, or stakeholders. May write content for marketing collateral, blogs, newsletters, websites, emails, and announcements. Create concepts for collateral, posters and campaigns. Attend marketing and networking events. Participate in product and business decisions, representing marketing goals. Internal: Manage and develop communications cadence, newsletters, and write content for an External audience. (Emails, websites etc.) Superb written and oral communication skills. Proven ability to collaboratively work cross-functionally to accomplish objectives by inspiring and leading multidiscipline teams. Ability to develop and present business, marketing and product strategies externally.

Must haves:
Developing Executive/Organizational/Program Communications & Presentation Decks, including talk track
SharePoint Administration, Creation, & Development
General Content Creation, including graphic design

Technology Requirements:Microsoft Office Suite, PoliteMail, Adobe creative suite (illustrator, indesign, photoshop)

What does a typical day look like? Developing Org/Exec/Program communications, keeping all tools updated, developing content for meetings

Preferred background/prior work experience? Corporate Communications & Executive Communications for a large company

Priority soft skills: Time Management/Project Mgmt, Problem Solving/Resourcefulness, & Communication/Listening Skills

NOTES FROM CALL WITH MANAGER:

This is the Office of the CFO team, focus is on supporting leaders and direct reports, socials, events, employee & external present.

  • Candidates must be able to jump in and write copy @ the executive level.
  • Must be able to pull together high level executive presentations
  • Must be able to take 10-15 slides and condense into 1 slide and something that everyone can understand
  • Will be keeping the rhythm of the business updated, see roadblocks & reposition
  • Should be able to use Airtables or Excel successfully
  • Will need to take recordings of presentations and be able to slice & Splice
  • Candidates should be very detailed and super resourceful, this is a very internal position

  1. Write and develop internal/external communications

  3. Be able to write copy at an executive level
  4. Excellent Grammar
  5. Have a graphic mind and be able to turn this info into simple terms

Technical tools needed: Expert level MS Word, power point, O365. Adobe Photoshop, editor, illustrator, designer
